Welcome!

Welcome to Zoids: Wild Frontiers! Our site is about having fun, role-playing great stories and awesome characters and getting to beat each other senseless in zoids! If you're new to the zoids fandom, you should definitely check out the Zoids Wiki.

We invite you to read RP and battles and see what we're about.

You can also talk to other players - they can help you get a feel for the community and for the game. You can meet people by posting an introduction in the aptly named Introductions forum.

YOUR CHARACTER

Zoids - the animal-like mecha - have defined the history of Arawn and Zi before it. Once, they were used as weapons of war; now, they are piloted by the elite and skilled few who dare to try to discover their ultimate potential as a person and as a warrior.

Your character will part of that elite - a Registered Zoid Pilot. Zoid Pilots fight in sacntioned zoid battles for the Zoids Battle Commission, seeking fame & fortune, seeking to unlock their ultimate potential or a thousand other reasons. Registered Pilots are also elite mercensaries, accepting contracts across the world, doing jobs no one else can - or will - do.

Your character is a person you are creating, complete with a history and relationships, joys and pains, defeats and triumphs - but no matter what they have done or what they will do, they will always remain a zoid pilot.

Every Registered Pilot is assumed to have completed the ZBC Basic Training Course or its equivalent. This is where the ZBC (or another organization) trains would-be Registered Pilots in the basic skills they need to know to survive as a Pilot and as a Mercenary.

APPLYING FOR A CHARACTER

The process of applying for a character is easy. All you do is create a character profile and then post it int he Drafts forum. Both players and staff will give you feedback and when you bio is ready, an Admin will post that you character has been accepted and you will be added to the ranks of Registered Pilots.

You can read through some character bios in the Accepted Bios to get some examples. The Equipment & Training Lists as also a good resource.

The Application

A few things to keep in mind here:

  • Spelling & grammar count. Please have a friend read over it for you and make sure you run it through some kind of a spellcheck.
  • Be reasonable and realistic about your character creation. No 5'1" 600lbs person is going to reasonably be a zoid pilot. The same for a 9-year-old or a 90-year-old.
  • If you just can't bring yourself to be reasonable or realistic, then be creative.
